Welcome to new partner – Samir Diwan

We are thrilled to introduce you to our new partner, Samir Diwan! Samir brings highly relevant experience to MVL given his background as a day-one, founding CEO and product leader. He will work closely with our founders-in-residence to build companies in his areas of expertise – the future of work and workplace productivity.

Prior to MVL, Samir was the founding CEO of Polly, the instant engagement app, where he was the driving force behind product and growth, and raised over $13m in venture funding from Madrona, Amplify, Slack and Zoom Fund. Earlier in his career, Samir spent 8 years at Microsoft as an Engineer and a Program Manager on the Windows Performance Team. He earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Washington.

When he is not working with founders on their startup ideas, he enjoys being outdoors, hoping the MLB will bring back the Expos, and spending time with his wife and two children.
